Privacy Policy
Sky Combat — two planes, one sky.
Last updated 20 August 2026. Version 1.0.
Who is responsible
Sky Combat is operated by Artem Bahniuk. For anything in this policy, or to exercise any of the rights below, write to dawdawich@gmail.com.
The short version
- There are no accounts. Sky Combat never asks for your email, your name, or a password.
- It does show adverts, served by Google AdMob, and AdMob collects a device advertising identifier to choose them. That is the one piece of tracking in the game.
- One optional purchase removes those adverts permanently. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store — we never see your card.
- Nothing is sold. There is no analytics SDK and no cross-app profiling of our own.
What Sky Combat collects, and why
| Data | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| A nickname, only if you set one | So an opponent can find you by name. It does not have to be your real name, and you can change it at any time. | Performance of the contract |
| An anonymous account identifier | Online play signs in anonymously with Firebase Authentication. This is a random id. It is not linked to your email, your phone number, or any account you own, and it cannot be used to identify you. | Performance of the contract |
| IP address and port, while a match is being set up | A match connects the two players' devices directly, which requires exchanging addresses through our connection service. They are used to open the match and are not stored afterwards. | Performance of the contract |
| Device advertising identifier, approximate location derived from IP, and device information — collected by Google AdMob, not by us | To select and measure the adverts shown after a lost round. | Consent, where consent is required |
| Whether this account owns the "Remove Ads" purchase | To stop showing adverts. It is stored on your device and sent to the other player in a match, so that one player's purchase removes adverts for both. | Performance of the contract |
What Sky Combat does not collect
- No email address, no phone number, no real name, no password.
- No contacts, no photos, no files, no microphone, no camera.
- No location permission. The game never asks the operating system where you are.
- No analytics or crash-reporting SDK of our own.
Advertising, and how to limit it
Adverts are served by Google AdMob. What the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and how Google uses it is described in Google's partner policy. You can limit it on the device itself: Delete advertising ID or Reset advertising identifier on Android, and Allow Apps to Request to Track on iOS.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland you are asked for consent before personalised adverts are shown, and you can change that choice later from the game's settings.
Who else sees it
- Google — AdMob for advertising, Firebase for anonymous sign-in and the directory that turns an invite code or nickname into a connection.
- Google Play / Apple — for the optional purchase, if you make one.
- Nobody else. Nothing is sold or shared for anyone else's marketing.
Where it is stored
The nickname directory and the matchmaking queue live in Firebase Realtime Database in the europe-west1 region. Connection addresses are held only for the moments it takes to open a match and are not written down.
Children
Sky Combat is not directed at children under 13, and is listed on Google Play for ages 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, write to us and it will be deleted.
Your data, and how to remove it
Because the game has no accounts there is very little to hold. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device, including the record of the purchase — which you can restore for free from the game's settings on a new device. To have a registered nickname and its anonymous id removed from the directory, write to dawdawich@gmail.com and it will be deleted.
